$100/hour. No minimums. Monthly billing. I work hard to be transparent with my pricing and hours so that you are never surprised by your bill!!

Human Resources deals specifically with the employment relationship, the day to day practicalities of being an employer. It’s sometimes referred to as People & Culture, HR, Personnel…. whatever you want to call it, my goal is to improve your compliance, work culture, strategic planning, and employer brand.

Not at this time. I don’t like to lock my clients into a monthly payment because their needs are so changeable. However I do offer regularly scheduled checkins which is a great solution for those companies that need consistent HR support. You can schedule them as often or as infrequently as you need. Employers with more employees and those in the startup or rapid growth phase may need to chat twice a week, those with a handful of employees may just need to check in once a month or as needed on employee performance issues, turnover, updated employer requirements, strategic goals, or projects.

Absolutely. I partner with a local company that I trust and have worked with for many years.

I’m only serving businesses with headquarters in the United States at the moment.

There’s typically no need to “cancel” because you are not locked into a commitment. If you don’t need to call me, you simply don’t call me. The goal is to give you the tools and systems to become an expert employer in your own right, and even to outgrow my services eventually. The only time cancelation would be an issue is mid project. If you need to cancel a project before its complete simply let me know as soon as possible and you’ll owe whatever percentage we agreed upon per contract.

Wouldn’t it be great to “outsource” this super difficult part of the job? Unfortunately I can’t do it for you. But I can help you weigh your options, write your termination documents for you and write you a detailed script. I can prep you for the meeting and then help you process after the fact.

I will send you an itemized invoice at the beginning of the month. Payment is due 14 days later. This is so that you have opportunity to review the charges and ask questions if something doesn’t look right to you!

I don’t charge a separate cost for templates, however my regular rate does apply. A couple minutes of my time for me to find and email you a template will run around $5. If you need something more custom, that will take longer for me to create and I’ll tell you how much that costs up front.
DIY Kits do include applicable templates in the cost of the kit.
Also, I occasionally include templates in blog posts or newsletters for free so keep an eye out for those resources!

I’m not a payroll or benefits provider, but I do work with trusted partners in payroll and benefits to come up with the right solutions for my clients.

I’m not a lawyer! Most employee issues are solvable without an attorney, however there are a handful of times we need to run something by my lawyer (or yours if you have one). A solid and reliable legal partner is so important!
